iOS 4.3.2 Tethered Jailbreak Already Available for the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1 & iPod touch

As you already know by now, Apple has launched iOS 4.3.2 today, which fixes a bunch of issues and is said to also deal with a few security issues, but iOS 4.3.2 is still jailbreakable. Sure we’re talking about a tethered jailbreak for now, but an untethered version is probably right around the corner.

The supported devices are the same, when it comes to jailbreaking: iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1 and the last two iPod touch versions, 3G and 4G. That means the iPad 2 jailbreak is yet to be unleashed and we’re probably going to see it hit in the following weeks along with the iOS 4.3.2 untethered jailbreak.

The devices above are jailbreakable for life, no matter what iOS version Apple would throw at us, but we’re talking about the tethered jailbreak kind. Those of you that still prefer to deal with an untethered jailbreak should wait a while before actually upgrading from iOS 4.3.1 to iOS 4.3.2.

The iPad 2 on the other hand is not yet jailbreakable for life and although the hacking community out there has already cracked it, there’s no public tool that could be used by iPad 2 owners at this time. In fact, if you own an early iPad 2 version, one that’s running iOS 4.3, then you’d be better off conserving that firmware as that one was initially jailbroken a day after the U.S. launch of Apple’s latest tablet.

Similarly, if you rely on an unlocked iPhone then upgrading to iOS 4.3.2 right away is out of the question. Simply stay put for further instructions from the iPhone Dev Team in order to preserve your current unlocked status while doing a flawless iOS upgrade.

Those of you not really tech-savvy should stay away from this iOS 4.3.2 jailbreak method as it requires some manual labor from your part and things might get especially dirty if you don’t feel comfortable with what you’re doing.
