Sprint Rumored To Be Lowering The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pricing On April 3rd [Samsung Galaxy Tab May Cost $199.99 With Sprint As Of April 3rd, Assuming These Rumors Are Accurate]
Sprint originally launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab back in mid-November of last year and at the time it was selling for $399 on a two-year agreement. Of course, it did not take all that long for rumors of a price cut to begin and a price cut actually came.

In mid-January Sprint chopped $100 off the purchase price of the Galaxy Tab dropping it to $299.99 on a two-year agreement. Well, the rumors have started back up and if you look at the previous patterns, this rumored price cut may actually be happening.
Of course, its only rumor until Sprint makes it official. But that being said, it looks like the Sprint branded Galaxy Tab is going to drop to $199.99 as of April 3rd.
But getting back to those previous patterns we mentioned. The tablet was released in November and was given its first price cut in January — about two months time. And now, that last price cut having been in January, well we are once again looking at about two months time. Or maybe 2.5 months time, but still close enough.
Bottom line here, if you were planning to pick up a Galaxy Tab on Sprint, you may be best holding off until this Sunday, just in case. And at worst, they don’t drop the price and you just lost a few days of playing time. Otherwise, the price cut looks to be nice in that no mail-in rebates will be required to get to $199.99.
Rumors aside though, the Galaxy Tab is a funny device at this point. On one hand it feels like it is showing its age and almost at a point where is could be replaced soon, but then when you think about it — Sprint only released this in November. The Galaxy Tab has only really been around for less than 6 months. Talk about quick cycles.
