Verizon Wireless Spring Roadmap Revealed [Leaked Verizon Roadmap Includes HTC Trophy, Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Droid Charge, Droid Incredible 2 & More]
While we will obviously need something a bit more official, it looks like we have some release dates for Verizon Wireless handsets that are set to arrive in April and May of this year. The device include mostly Android, however there is a Windows Phone 7 offering included.

Anyway, the details of this roadmap are coming by way of the Phandroid blog who have acquired the list by way of their “friendly neighborhood tipster.” That said, we would like to believe they posted the information because they believe it to be accurate, but as of now this is anything but confirmed.
With the obligatory warning out of the way, lets get into what we will hopefully be seeing. To begin with, there are a few devices set to arrive before March ends (as of March 31st). Of course, we have already know about these, but just to make note there is the Novatel MiFi 4510L, the Samsung SCH-LC11 and the Novatel USB-551L — all of which are 4G modems.
Next up we move to April, which is more exciting for those looking for smartphones and includes something waterproof, something Windows Phone 7 and a few Android.
- Casio Commando – Android and waterproof – April 7th
- Samsung Charge – Android and 4G – April 7th
- Sony Ericsson Xperia Play – Playstation phone – April 14th
- HTC Trophy – Windows Phone 7 and a global handset – April 15th
- HTC Droid Incredible 2 – A global handset – April 28th
Of course, some will recognize the Samsung Charge as the Samsung 4G LTE phone that was introduced during CES. And with that, we move to May, which includes four devices in total but only one with a specific date given.
- LG Revolution – May 5th
- Motorola Bionic
- Motorola Droid X2
- Samsung Galaxy 2
In the case of May, each of these four devices will be 4G LTE capable and running Android. Bottom line, it looks like Verizon will have a nice couple of months in terms of smartphone releases. Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope these dates prove to be accurate.
