Back To The Future: The Game Episode 3 Out Now For PC, Mac
Telltale Games’ Back To The Future: The Game, has been getting a lot of critical acclaim, lately. And now, the latest episode is out. Telltale Games has released Episode 3 of the five-episode series for the PC/Mac version of the game, which is the ‘lead’ version of the game. Dubbed Citizen Brown, it has Marty going back to 1986.

But, Marty isn’t in any old regular 1986. Just like Back To The Future: Part II, it’s a darker version of the present where Marty will have run-ins with alternate versions of Doc and Jennifer. Yep, Jennifer makes her first appearance of the “season” with Claudia Wells, the actress who played her in the first movie, returning to voice the character.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game series, here’s a brief primer – Telltale Games’ is a great independent adventure game studio that’s most known for their old school point-and-click adventure games. They announced they had acquired the rights to make a Back To The Future game from NBCUniversal last year. The game, which is broken up into five episodes, released monthly, was even cowritten by BTTF film producer and cowriter, Bob Gale.
The game takes place a while after BTTF: Part III ends. The bank is foreclosing on Doc’s stuff because he isn’t around to pay his bills, and Marty gets sucked into another time traveling adventure. You pay $25 for the game up front, and then you get all episodes as they’re released. At least, that’s how it works on the PC/Mac and PlayStation 3. There is an iPad version, but it looks like you’ll have to pay for each episodes individually.
Anyway, Episode 3 of this great adventure game is out now – it’s a must play for any adventure game fans. No word on when it will show up on the iPad and PlayStation 3, probably within a few weeks.
