Acer Iconia 6120 Dual-Display Touchbook Now Available For Pre-Order In The US & Canada [Acer Iconia 6120 Touchbook Features Two 14" Displays, Core i5 CPU, Runs Windows 7 & Is Priced At $1,199]

We saw a fair bit about the Acer Iconia 6120 Touchbook during CES, in fact, the tablet was crowned the “Last Gadget Standing” award. And well, it looks like the tablet has officially come available for purchase.

Well, technically speaking, the Iconia 6120 Touchbook has come available for pre-order with a price tag of $1,199.99. As far as where, the tablet is available for those in the US as well as Canada and can be found with Amazon as well as other “leading retailers” in the US and with “authorized Canadian resellers.”

And perhaps a little nicer, while there is not an exact shipping date given just yet, Acer did not that the Iconia 6120 Touchpad “will be available in April.” In other words, it may be a few days or a few weeks, but either way, it is coming next month.

Pricing and availability aside, lets talk features and specs. Just to begin with, the Iconia 6120 is sporting two 14 inch Gorilla Glass LCD’s and running the 64-bit edition of Windows 7 Home Premium. Other features include;

Otherwise, Acer seems to have this loaded up with a few interesting applications. To begin here, there is the Acer Ring Control Interface, which is described as being “the heart of Iconia.”

“The unique Acer Ring Control Interface makes navigating by touch simple and intuitive. By placing five fingers in a circular pattern on the bottom display, the Acer Ring appears, providing instant access to favorite applications and features.”

Furthermore, those who make the purchase can also expect to find other goodies such as the TouchBrowser, MyJournal, Social Jogger, Scrapbook and TouchPhoto as well as a virtual keyboard, gesture editor, web clip tool, window manager and more.
