Walmart Offering Trade-In Credit Toward 3DS

Walmart Offering Up To $100 Off New Nintendo 3DS With Old DS Trade-In This Weekend

You’ve had some great times with your Nintendo DS over the years, but let’s face it: with the arrival of the 3DS this weekend, what you and your DS once had is lost. Luckily for you, Walmart has announced that you can sell your suddenly hideous and soon-to-be forgotten DS to them, and they’ll give you credit toward a new 3DS – up to $100.

Not only that, but Walmart will allow you to trade in a second DS for another $100, potentially bringing the cost of your new 3DS down to a cool $50. Sound too good to be true? Well in some ways, it is. How much you get in trade depends on the generation and condition of your DS (of course), so don’t expect to get that $200 off unless you have two new DSi XLs to trade in.

Also, not every Walmart store is participating in this promotion, and the ones that are participating are limited to twelve states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and South Carolina. If you’re luckily enough to live in the American south, you can take advantage of this deal from this Sunday, March 27, all the way up until April 30.
