Claudia Wells To Reprise Her Role In Back To The Future: The Game
Only the most hardcore of Back To The Future fans will know this, but the actress that played Jennifer Parker (Marty’s girlfriend) changed between the first and second movie. Actress Claudia Wells portrayed Jennifer in the first movie, but dropped out of the sequels after her mother was diagnosed with cancer. The filmmakers actually hid it well by reshooting the ending of Part 1 for the beginning of Part 2 with the new actress (Elizabeth Shue). But anyway, Claudia Wells will be returning to Jennifer’s shoes for future parts of Back To The Future: The Game from Telltale Games.

We’re big fans of the BTTF: The Game from Telltale here at TFTS. It’s an old school point-and-click adventure game like Telltale Games are one to do. They’re releasing it episodically over five parts, with a new one being released every month. But $25 will get you the whole game on the PC and PlayStation 3. It’s got Christopher Lloyd back as Doc Brown, and has A.J. LoCascio doing an amazing Marty voice for the game.
Part 1 (It’s About Time) and Part 2 (Get Tannen) have already been released. Part 3 (Citizen Brown) is due to be released any day now – and Jennifer will make her debut into the series in that episode. In a “Behind The Scenes” interview released by Telltale Games, Wells says she was excited to reprise her role as Jennifer and be involved in the game.
You can currently get Back To The Future: The Game on the PC, PlayStation 3 or iPad. Two of the five episodes are out now!
