Verizon Extends "Today, Tomorrow, Plus" HTC Trophy Offer For Microsoft Employees
We have seen various rumored dates in terms of the HTC Trophy and Verizon Wireless. Some have included June and some the more more general timeframe of sometime in the spring. Needless to say, we are still awaiting the official word, however some could speculate that a release is going to happen sometime around April 1st.

Of course, that would be nothing more than speculation. But if you remember back to last November, we told you about the offer Verizon posted for Microsoft employees. The one where they could get a free HTC Trophy. Well, that particular offer was set to come to an end on December 31st. And low and behold, we have not heard much about it since.
Well, flash forward till today and it looks like that offer has been extended and is now running though April 1st. Hence, the speculation that the Merge could come available for any and all around that time. In other words, the Microsoft employees that took (or take) Verizon up on this offer will not be getting the handset any earlier than the rest of us.
That leads us to believe that when the program offer ends, the device will come available. That said, what those employees will get is a free Trophy and a $100 bill credit. The offer is being billed as Today, Tomorrow, Plus. And that seems to break down as getting the $100 bill credit when you renew for two-years, getting a reimbursement for the phone from Microsoft when it launches in “early 2011″ and the plus — that comes in the form of a free accessory bundle including a leather case and car charger.
Bottom line, this offer is only really good for Microsoft employees and simply teases anyone who is waiting for Verizon to release the HTC Trophy, but what it does do for everyone is give a renewed hope that a release is coming sooner-rather-than-later.
