CTIA 2011: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to Come in 2 Versions
While Samsung announced a revised, thinner variant of the 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab at CTIA 2011. The company is releasing a thicker version introduced at MWC 2011, with a few differences.

Samsung’s revised 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab design introduced at CTIA was seemingly trying to beat the iPad 2. And at 8.6 mm thick, it was actually 0.02 thinner than the iPad 2.
However, an announced release by Samsung specifically meant as a Vodafone exclusive in the UK and Australia turns out to be thicker than the new design by 2.3 mm. With the added bulk, though, the Galaxy Tab 10.1V supports the higher-resolution rear-facing camera — at 8 megapixels, and with autofocus — which was part of the original reference design introduced at MWC.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1V also doesn’t feature Samsung’s proprietary TouchWiz interface and UI enhancements, and will come with a vanilla installation of Honeycomb. This might come as a disappointment to Samsung die-hards, but to Android fans, this will mean easier Android upgrades when available.
Vodafone is releasing the 16GB Galaxy Tab 10.1V in Australia at A$259 with a 1-year A$39 per month contract, or an outright retail price of A$729. Vodafone has yet to announce pricing and availability in the UK, though.
