Motorola Droid 3 Images Surface Showing Off 5-Row Slide-Out QWERTY
Android fans were treated yesterday morning with a surprise in the form of a single image of the yet to be announced Droid 3. And coming almost like clockwork, there are now a few more images of the handset to check out — one of which has the keyboard fully extended.

And of course, after seeing the single image from yesterday, it is probably safe to think that many were hoping to get a look at the keyboard. Granted, a picture of a keyboard is not nearly as nice as going hands on and actually seeing how the keys feel, but for the meantime, we will take what we can get.
That said, unfortunately there is not much else in terms of specs or additional details. We can tell you (as you can see from the above image) that the keyboard is a 5-row QWERTY and the Droid itself has a chrome bezel and the four capacitive Android buttons for Menu, Home, Back and Search along the bottom of the display.

Otherwise, it is said that the display is going to be a 4 inch qHD. Plus, it appears as if there is an HDMI and mini-USB port on the side. And for what it is worth, the keyboard also has some non US symbols such as the Yen, Pound and Euro which are on the D, S and A keys respectively.
With that, we will have to wait and see the end result in terms of usability on the keyboard because it would appear as if the keys will be a bit smaller given the previous Droid handsets were sporting 4-row keyboards. And while it is nice to have the dedicated number row and not have to use the ALT key, sometimes larger keys are a little more user friendly. Next up in terms of Droid 3 leaks — who really knows, but maybe we can get something hands on and user experience related.
