Those of you that happen to own an iOS 4.3 device and a Windows-based machine and are interested in jailbreaking it right away should be happy to hear that Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 is now available to download and it will work on most iOS 4.3 devices out there.
The iPad 2 is not jailbreakable using this tool, or any other tool available in the wild right now so in case you purchased Apple’s latest tablet and want to jailbreak it right away you’ll have to wait for the hackers to come up with a different hacking procedure.
If you have an iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 4G, iPod touch 3G or iPad 1, and you have upgraded them to iOS 4.3 already then you can jailbreak them using your Windows machine and this new Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 upgrade.
Sn0wbreeze is a tethered jailbreak too, so if that’s not good enough for you, then, again, you’ll be in for some waiting for an untethered jailbreak to hit. I’ve got the problem with my iPhone 3Gs. I’ve tried to jailbreak my iPhone using Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 but without upgrading my iPhone from 4.0.1 to 4.3. First it was working fine, but I couldn’t unlock my iPhone even I’ve added the source and installed few times. Then I’ve restarted my iPhone using iBooty V2.0 for 3Gs. Then my iPhone showed me white screen of death. Now i can’t turn my iPhone on and if I use iBooty V2.0 and turn it on, then it’s just the WSoD and no other logos or something. Also I’ve tried to restore again and iTunes shows me the error 1601 or 1600.
Please tell me how can i restore…

I jailbreaked my iphone 3gs. I had firmware 3.1.3 and upgraded it to 4.1.2. When I restored the costum firmware, which I made with sn0wbreeze-2.2.1, it turned on like a charm. I connected it to the WiFi to add some Cydia sources, and when I put it on the destop to search on the web for the sources, it turned off for itself. The screen was black. I tried to fix DFU mode with TinyUmbrella, but all I got was a white screen.
I’ve tried many things, like to install others firmwares, but no luck.
What can I do in this case?

I did the same thing as Willy and Tselmeg and took a nap to find my iPhone 3Gs off. When i booted it with iBooty v2.0 the WSoD appeared and have also tried many ways & means to fix it but to no avail.
Someone, pls help me. I don’t want my iPhone 3Gs to be unable to be used.

I was unable to JB my IPad running 4.3. The process of patching the firmware, getting into the DFU mode and then installation going fine. After restarting the pad, gets stuck on the apple logo, it wont move ahead for hours. Can you suggest some help on fixing this?

You can try something and which is hold the home botton while holding the sleep/lock botton at the same time!
First, hold the home botton
Then, hold the sleep/lock without leaving the home botton….

It doesn’t work Ali. After during hard reset the iPhone wouldn’t even boot up. It just stays as a blank screen and even trying to power it on has no effect. Pls help.
I do not really get that tethered… etc, I used Sn0wbreeze 2.3b2 to jailbreak my iOS 4.3 on iPhone 3GS, and I never use iBooty or other software to boot my iPhone…. It just work without I guess, or maybe I am missing something. I can turn it on and reboot without computer… I do not get what is the deal here…
I have upgraded to 4.3 and I jailnreak my iphone 4 iso 4.3 with snowbreeze but after jailbreak i couldnt sync my apps from my itumes at all even though i have install appsync 4+.

I have the same problem Khang… I used Snowbreeze on both of my Iphone 3GS because it seemed to work perfectly and now I cannot sync apps to either one!! Getting an Itunes msg that my software is too old and to do an update however It’s updated! :( ANyone please help? Even if I downgrade back to 4.0.2 or 4.0.1 I am now getting this sync issue!!!! grrr.. HELP ?

all of you are right we have thin this way out of it
last night i installed snow breeze and install custom firmware
then it was working fine then i press the standby buttons then i press it again finish black screen and white screen
i say Sn0wbreeze give us a sloution
I will not recommend Jailbreaking IOS 4,3 now.
I would wait a bit longer, untill a “safer” jailbreak will be released.
Try to plugin your iphone to the computer, and try to use Tinyumbrella/DFU Mode/Recovery Mode/ Safe mode.. Restore your iDevice.
Hey i have an ipod 4g I did all the steps to jailbreak it , when it finished i went to settings to connect my ipod to the wifi i tapped join then the screen went black and all the keys are irresponsive then i retried to use ibooty and the ipod was recognized from itunes but with nothing on the screen and i can still sync music apps…. I’m tired of searching google for answers and everybody’s saying take it to the apple store. Well there is no apple store in my country plz help!! Btw once i tried to concentrate on the screen and actually there was everything in its place but barely visible i tried to restore reset everything nothing worked help:(
Please, I’d consult you guys NOT to jailbreak the iPhone untill there’s an official sn0wbreeze or redsn0w or greenp0ision.. The one you downloaded now is a beta and seems to malfunction. DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR IPHONE THOUGH, doing this will make you UNABLE to jailbreak it for another week or so, which would be unfortunate for you for not being benifitable to use the apps that the jailbroken iDevice has to offer, wait a while and search later for an official 4.3 jailbreak.
I hope I all got you off this idea, and I bet dumb people are still gonna try and jailbreak but yeah, ain’t my problem if your iDevice is broken..
