Blizzard Already Playing Upcoming MMO Titan
When Blizzard admitted that they’re working on a next-generation MMO, currently codenamed Titan, a good number of the 12 million inhabitants of Azeroth were probably wondering if World of Warcraft was going to be left competing with Titan for Blizzard’s attention.

But Blizzard’s COO Tom Sams reassured fans in a recent interview with Gamasutra, saying that World of Warcraft isn’t going to get the short end of the stick even though a number of people who created WoW are now working on Titan full time.
“I see World of Warcraft as having many more years in front of it,” Sams said in the interview. “We have over 12 million subscribers. We’re continuing to grow and we feel very good about them. We’re going to continue to support that product for many, many years to come.”
Sams also said that the folks at Blizzard have actually been playing Titan, and surprise! It’s awesome. “We’re playing it already. It is a total ball to play. We think that the reach of that product is greater than anything that we’ve done before. We’re very excited about that. I believe that it’s the type of game that will have a very long life, much like World of Warcraft has.”
Titan isn’t even officially announced yet, but Blizzard is estimating a 2013 release date for the new MMO.
