Angry Birds Coming To Facebook This Year
If you thought that things on Facebook were bad because of Farmville, you haven’t seen anything yet. Rovio has confirmed that Angry Birds will be coming to Facebook this year, which means that two things are going to happen: your news feed will be hijacked by friends sharing information about their Angry Birds game, and productivity worldwide will likely plummet to absurd lows.

Facebook is merely one more platform in Angry Birds quest for world dominance, and trust me, it’ll get there – with Angry Birds releases planned for the Xbox 360, Windows Phone 7, and Wii, soon you won’t be able to give any justifiable reason as to why you haven’t experienced Angry Birds yet.
Rovio has also said that they can picture the disgruntled fouls making the leap to other genres, like racing and sports. You know, like Mario did with Mario Kart and all of the different Mario sports titles. Gaming purists might find the comparison a little insulting, but with 75 million downloads already, Angry Birds is well on its way to challenging Mario’s popularity.
No release date has been for the Facebook version of Angry Birds, but we’ll let you know once it’s announced.
