Serious Sam 3: BFE Now Official, Press Release Is Anything But Normal
Even though it’s been talked about for quite some time now, developer Croteam has officially announced Serious Sam 3: BFG, saying that it will release this summer for PCs and consoles with an absurd 16 player co-op mode.

Since Serious Sam 3: BFG is supposedly going to take the FPS back to the time “where men were men, cover was for amateurs and pulling the trigger made things go boom,” 16 player co-op basically means there will be a lot of bullets being fired indiscriminately at anything that moves.
In addition to some new screenshots from the game (one of which is pictured above), we were also treated to a rather atypical press release. The entire release set a pretty zany mood, but a couple of quotes in particular are catching the attention of quite a few people.
“Holy crap, I am going to make a boatload of cash of this game,” said Fork Parker, chief financial officer at Devolver Digital, the Serious Sam 3: BFE publisher. “I mean that’s what this is all about, right? If this thing comes out in the summer my wife is totally getting the *** job she’s been asking for.”
Serious Sam 3 will bring the boom to PC and game consoles this summer.
When asked for further comment, Fork replied, “Bam. *** job.”
Is it strange that this borderline insane quote makes me want to buy the game even more? In any case, no release date is set yet, but look for Serious Sam 3: BFG to release on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
