Bethesda Releases Official Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Trailer

New Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Trailer Forgets The Lame & Piles On The Awesome

We’ve seen a painfully sparse teaser trailer and we’ve seen some nice looking screenshots, but Bethesda recently released the official trailer for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and there’s quite a bit to drool over in it: dragons, sprawling cities, horned helmets, and even some pretty colors. Check out the trailer after the break.

While we already know that Skyrim’s Creation engine is leaps and bounds ahead of the GameBryo engine used in Oblivion (with an early build of GameBryo even being used in Morrowind), this new trailer shows us just how much of a difference there is between the two. Needless to say, if Skyrim isn’t on your list of anticipated games for 2011, it should be.

Get ready for life as you know it now to be over when The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim releases on November 11 for Xbox 360, PS3, PC. In the meantime, watch the official trailer below and hit the replay button a few dozen times.
