Sprint Officially Announces The HTC Arrive Windows Phone 7 Smartphone
Sprint told us they would be announcing a phone today, then they proceeded to give us hints as to what the device would be. Well, needless to say, between the original bit of speculation and the details we gathered from the clues — just about everyone was in agreement that the phone was going to be something running Windows Phone 7.

That said, Sprint has offered the official announcement and we now know that they will be releasing the HTC Arrive, which some may recognize as the HTC 7 Pro. But renaming aside, the HTC Arrive will be available as of March 20th and come priced at $199.99. Though, worth noting in terms of that price, it comes AFTER a $100 mail in rebate and along with a two-year agreement. In other words, those interested in making the purchase will need to be prepared to shell out $299.99 on the day of purchase.
Otherwise, given we have seen the HTC 7 Pro in the past, many will be familiar with the specs under the new name — HTC Arrive. But then again, given the phone was not available here in the US with Sprint, some likely skipped past without a second thought and given that a recap seems in order.
