Fable III Heading To PC May 17

Lionhead & Microsoft Announce Fable III Will Be Landing On PC This May, But Is It Too Little, Too Late?

Xbox Live’s Major Nelson announced today that Fable III will finally be making its way to PC on May 17 in the US and on May 19 in Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. Of course, it’s difficult to imagine PC players actually still being interested in the title, but hey, better over half a year late than never right?

In any case, the PC version of Fable III comes with full 3D support, so long as you have the right NVIDIA card. Also included in the PC version is a new “hardcore mode,” but Major Nelson didn’t elaborate on what exactly that means. I suppose its too much to hope for combat that uses more than one button, but anything that makes the already pretty easy game a little bit harder will be a welcome change.

What do you think? Is Fable III worth picking up on PC, or are you going to give this one a pass?
