Apple MacBook Pro 2011 Lineup Now Official
Just as the rumor mill was suggesting, Apple was indeed ready to release an updated MacBook Pro notebook lineup. And as many saw earlier this morning, the telltale sign of the online Apple Store going down came into play. Well, the good news is that the announcement has been made and Sandy Bridge powered MacBook Pro notebooks are available.

The new 2011 MacBook Pro lineup includes a few goodies over the previous generation which includes the already mentioned Sandy Bridge Intel processors, Thunderbolt I/O and a new Facetime HD camera.
“Apple today updated the industry-leading MacBook Pro family with next generation processors and graphics, high-speed Thunderbolt I/O technology and a new FaceTime HD camera. Featuring the very latest dual-core and quad-core Intel Core processors, the entire MacBook Pro line is up to twice as fast as the previous generation.”

The MacBook Pro lineup will consist of a 13, 15 and 17 inch model with prices starting from $1,199, $1,799 and $2,499 respectively. Of course, that is the base price and there is always the option to built it bigger and better if you are willing and/or able to spend more money.

All said and done, this looks to be a nice new lineup, especially considering the base pricing for the 13 and 15 inch remained the same as the previous generation.
