AOC Aire Line of Monitors Offer Quality On A Budget

Multiple Sizes of Monitor From AOC Aire Available, All At Pretty Decent Cost Figures

If you’re any kind of PC user–be you a gamer, a home entertainment type or a full-on serious-business power user–you know how important the right monitor is to your system. It really doesn’t matter how potent your spec loadout is on your main machine if you can’t see anything that’s going on. And that’s the kind of thing AOC is looking to fix with its lineup of Aire monitors.

The Aire monitors are a set of three different sizes, and they offer much the same features, just in different amounts of real estate. Each one of the three models available is an LED monitor (which is pretty much the highest-end class of display right now), and each one measures in at an astonishingly svelte 12.7 mm thick. That’s thin. What’s more, each monitor only uses 15 watts of power–less than even those twisty light bulbs, and in standby mode it’s just .1 watts–but still offer five ms response time and a 50M : 1 dynamic contrast ratio. And even better, you’ll get the Screen + option, which actually allows you to split your screen into four different work areas whenever you need to.

And if you thought that was good, wait until you check out the price tags: the AOC Aire e2043Fk, a 20 inch monitor, will run you just $129. The 22 inch e2243Fwk will run you $149, and the slightly larger (at 23 inches) e2343Fk will set you back a still very manageable $179.

You’ll be able to find these both online, and reportedly in several different stores like Best Buy and Radio Shack, so if you’re looking for a nice new monitor that packs the size in as well as the value, you’ll almost certainly want to start thinking about finding an AOC Aire, because these things are looking pretty impressive. You’ll want to have a look at them yourselves, of course, but with specs like these, if the execution is half as good you’ll probably end up walking out of the store with one.
