MetroPCS Partners With Snoop Dogg For The Launch Of The Samsung Indulge
MetroPCS officially announced the Samsung Indulge back on February 9th and then had the handset available later in that week. And well, flash forward till today and we now have word of a partnership between MetroPCS and Snoop Dogg to “introduce the new Samsung Galaxy Indulge.”

Anyway, just for those who missed the original introduction, the Samsung Galaxy Indulge is a 4G capable Android device with MetroPCS and is priced (contract free) at $399.99. Some of the features of the Indulge include a 3.5 inch HVGA touchscreen display, 1GHz processor, 3.2 megapixel camera and Android 2.2.
But getting back to the point of this post, the partnership with Snoop Dogg.
“It feels good to be working with MetroPCS and Samsung for the launch of the Galaxy Indulge. I’m stepping it up to 4G’s so my phone can keep up with my demanding, always-connected lifestyle,” said Snoop Dogggg
And for those wondering what this means, aside from some added publicity because a stars name is attached to the phone — there is going to be a video series released as well as a contest where one lucky person will meet Snoop himself.

The video series will be called “The G-Connection” and come in the form of a dating game style show. Those interested can check out the series, of which there are three episodes available, on the MetroPCS YouTube channel.
As for that contest, the winner will get a “VIP trip for two to a Snoop concert this summer, including airfare and incidentals, front-row tickets and backstage passes, as well as two Samsung Galaxy Indulge smartphones with MetroPCS 4G service.”
With that, we will leave you with this, a slightly puzzling statement from the press release;
