Angry Birds for Windows Now Available via Intel AppUp Store

Angry Birds Now Available on Windows for $4.99, Along With Other Free & Paid Apps via Intel Store

Haven’t had enough of Angry Birds on your iOS, OS X, or Android device, yet? Here’s another way to enjoy the popular game: on Windows. Rovio has just made the Windows version game available through Intel’s AppUp Store.

Windows doesn’t come with a native App store, but if you have a Windows XP or Windows 7 computer, you can install Intel’s AppUp for access to free and paid software meant for Windows. The AppUp store has recently made Angry Birds available for download as a featured app.

The PC version of Angry Birds works with a mouse interface, although we suppose it will also work via touchscreen if you have a touchscreen device, such as an HP Touchsmart or a Windows 7-based tablet PC.

The game costs $4.99, and can be played on up to four of your computers, assuming you use the same Intel AppUp account on each. The game has a trial period of 24 hours, during which you can cancel your purchase if you are not satisfied.
