Mozilla Issues Revamped F1 Browsing Extension

Mozilla's F1 Browser Extension Gets Much Needed New Look

While the idea of Mozilla’s F1 browsing extension was arguably one of the best since they released Firefox there were certain problems that made the service not quite as perfect as it could be. The original purpose of the F1 browser was to make it easier to share links that users are browsing to with just the touch of a button.

With the Mozilla F1 browser extension users didn’t have to press the “share this” link but instead merely have to hit the F1 button in order to share the link with any one of multiple services. Mozilla first released the F1 extension in November and while the function of the extension is great, the look and feel wasn’t top of the line.

The new iteration of the F1 browser extension has a vertical layout that stacks the different features in a list instead of the last look which stretched the functions out horizontally. In addition to that, Linkedin joins the other services such as Facebook, Twitter, Gmail and Google Apps and the new functions include also allows users to send messages directly to Twitter followers, making the service that much better.
