Malaysia Airlines Putting Their In-Flight Magazines On The iPad

In-Flight Magazines Starting To Pop Up On iPads More & More

While most people might view in-flight magazines as little more than something to kill time with, at least one airline is banking on there being a little bit more interest if they being to offer that magazine on the iPad.

Malaysian Airlines has decided that their in-flight magazine “Going Places” will be offered on the iPad for those people who actually enjoy those type of articles but also want to be able to read it in the newest digital format, adding a little fun to their reading experience. Malaysian airlines recently released a statement where they explained why they would launch a less than wildly popular publication on such a popular platform.

“MAS chose the iPad because of the phenomenal growth of users in such a short time. As a platform, the iPad allows us to increase our range and reach new customers. It also allows our users a more comfortable, portable, convenient access to our magazine and some insight into our in-flight offerings, for their next trip.”
