Steve Jobs Spotted Going Into Hospital
Yesterday, we told you about a widely reported story that said that Apple CEO Steve Jobs was spotted on the Apple Campus, which caused much delight for the Apple employees, allegedly. Now, some sadder news as it’s being reported by multiple sources that Jobs was spotted heading into the Stanford Cancer Center looking extremely thin and sicker than usual. And worst of all, doctors who examined pictures of Jobs say he has just weeks to live.

The National Enquirer was one of the sources that posted the news that Jobs was spotted heading into the Stanford Cancer Center. They also had a photographer following Jobs, who said that he entered the medical center after having breakfast out with his wife. The images they posted are alarming, as they show a disheveled-looking Jobs with an extremely frail hand. Granted, keep in mind that this is the National Enquirer, not the New York Times.
The National Enquirer showed their pictures to two doctors, Dr. Gabe Mirkin and Dr. Samuel Jacobson. Both doctors said that Jobs has “weeks to live”. Neither man has seen Jobs in person, nor are they oncologists. They’re also apparently the first doctors the National Enquirer would go to. Draw your own conclusions.
The Stanford Cancer Center is where famous Hollywood actor Patrick Swayze was treated in his final days. US News & World Report rated the Oncology Department at the Stanford Hospital the #11th best in the United States last year.
Apple’s stock price was up 0.9% on the day. I guess investors don’t count the National Enquirer as a financial source of record.
