HTC Flyer Android Tablet Shows Up On Amazon.de Website
HTC made more than a few announcements during Mobile World Congress, one of which is the 7 inch Flyer tablet. And while the tablet was officially announced, HTC failed to let everyone know those important details — the pricing and release date.

Needless to say, we have the web and the web has leaks. Such being the case, it was recently discovered that the HTC Flyer has made an appearance on the Amazon.de website and low and behold, that product listing came complete with a price — 669 Euro or roughly $730 in terms of US dollars.
Of course, the obvious fact is there — this price has not been announced by HTC and therefor can still change. But in the meantime, it seems pretty fair, or at the very least, it seems pretty fair as compared to other devices.

Otherwise, according to that Amazon.de listing, the HTC Flyer will feature 32GB of internal storage. And as you most likely remember from the original announcement, the Flyer will also be sporting a 7 inch display, 1.5GHz processor, 1GB RAM, GPS, 5 megapixel camera on the back, 1.3 megapixel camera on the front and an aluminum unibody exterior with Android 2.4 and the HTC Sense user interface.
All said and done, this little tidbit from Amazon does have us looking forward to seeing something a bit more official. Not to mention, keeping our fingers crossed that the price is the real deal, or at least close. In the meantime, just in case you missed it, Chris (our man of the floor) was able to snap some images of the Flyer during Mobile World Congress.
Anyway, things seem to be shaping up nicely in terms of upcoming Android tablets. It looks like the Galaxy Tab will soon have some real competition, but perhaps more important — there will be options for those looking for a tablet with a 7 inch display as well as a 10 inch display.
