Blizzard Releasing Two Games In 2012, Likely Diablo 3 & Starcraft 2 Heart Of The Swarm
There’s no question that when Blizzard releases a new game, whether an insanely anticipated sequel with a development time measured in decades or a measly expansion, it’s an event of cataclysmic proportions. And Activision have just announced that if Blizzard don’t make their 2011 date for one of their new releases, both of them will drop in 2012. Feel free to insert your own “the Mayans totally nailed it” joke here.

Speculation places Diablo 3 and the next installment of Starcraft 2, Heart of the Swarm as the likely candidates. A few reverent whispers also mention Blizzard’s new MMO, Titan, but that thing’s age is like -5 in Blizzard years, so I seriously doubt we’ll even see a screenshot by that time. We’ll probably have a better chance with that imaginary Chinese World of Warcraft theme park. To me it’s perfectly obvious that it’s a Lost Vikings sequel.
