Motorola Droid Bionic Spotted on Amazon for $149.99 [Droid Bionic Prices Leak Before Release Date & Match the Atrix 4G]
Just earlier today we showed you the price of the HD Multimedia Dock for the Atrix 4G and now we have another Motorola product on display, with pricing details and bells on, this time on Amazon. Naturally, it’s all a mistake, isn’t it?

The Motorola Droid Bionic is the twin brother of the Atrix 4G but, unlike the Atrix that’s headed to AT&T’s HSPA+ “4G” network, the Bionic will do 4G LTE for the competition. Verizon has not announced any pricing details for the Droid Bionic but word on the street is, thanks to Amazon, that the Bionic could cost $149.99 with a new two-year Verizon contract, or $599.99 when purchased full retail. Does that sound familiar?
It’s certainly interesting to see Amazon willing to price both Motorola handsets similarly, especially considering that each device has certain features the other doesn’t – the Atrix 4G comes with the Webtop Dock universe while the Bionic has LTE powers.

Verizon on the other hand, could end up asking $199.99, with no mail-in rebates, and with a new contract for the phone while Amazon could go ahead and offer an extra $50 off the price from launch.
Now we can’t help but remember that the HTC Thunderbolt, which seems to be the flagship LTE device of Verizon, is said to sell for $249.99 with new two-year contracts. So why should the Droid Bionic be any cheaper than that?
What’s also pretty intriguing is the fact that the Droid Bionic is only supposed to hit stores at some point in Q2 which makes us wonder why Amazon is already leaking pricing details for the device. On comparison the Motorola Atrix will be released at some point in February, a lot sooner than the Bionic, and having Amazon leak its price seems more plausible.
Anyone interested in the Droid Bionic or are the Atrix 4G and HTC Thunderbolt the Android devices to choose from right now?
