Motorola Atrix 4G HD Multimedia Dock to Cost $59.95?

The Motorola Atrix 4G is right around the corner and we keep seeing proof of its arrival left and right. Amazon and Costco have both revealed pricing details for this upcoming Android handset, and both retailers priced the phone at $150, when bundled with a new two-year contract.

Before that we’ve seen the Atrix Laptop Dock priced, at $150, and it looks like more Atrix-related pricing details are becoming available. The HD Multimedia Dock is now said to cost $59.95 as the accessory has been spotted on Fommy.com. The price seems more than reasonable considering that the dock will help you expand your smartphone experience to a much bigger screen.

The HD Multimedia Dock comes with three USB ports, a micro HDMI port and a wireless remote control. Motorola’s Webtop application will let you turn the Atrix either into a desktop, or a multimedia center, depending on your needs. Naturally you can switch from one mode to the other although the dock can be setup to remember what the initial setup was.

It will be interesting to see how many docks will Motorola sell, and I don’t mean just the HD Multimedia dock but the Laptop Dock too. Not to mention there’s also a Car Dock that will help you use those GPS features of the phone coming out soon.

The leaked prices we kept showing you are not official, but, assuming that they’re based on the real thing, the Atrix 4G could end up costing you $360, when bundled with a new two-year contract. In the price we’ve included both the Laptop Dock and the HD Multimedia Dock, although not all potential Atrix 4G customers will end up buying both docks.
