Magicka Developers Working To Fix Indie Hit's Game Breaking Issues

Magicka's Co-Op Bugs Being Worked On By Developer Paradox Interactive

By all accounts, Magicka is something worth playing and, even better, something worth playing produced by a small independent developer, which is always pretty heartwarming no matter how you look at it. Which makes the issues people are currently experiencing with the game ‘s Co-Op mode, namely that some of them can’t access it, a crying shame. Fear not, though, there’s developers on them frontlines, slaying bugs left, right and center, like if Starship Troopers had a sequel that didn’t suck.

“The development team is working around the clock and we will get this fixed. We will make this right,” says Fredrik Wester, the CEO of Paradox Interactive in an interview with Ars Technica, who were affected by the issues to such an extent that they couldn’t even review the game. He also goes into detail on the trade-offs tiny developers must face, but leaving in bugs to make a publisher deadline isn’t really a situation unique to the smaller developers.
