Dead Space Movie Could Be Possible, Says Visceral
Anyone who has even a passing interest in video games probably knows that game-to-movie-adaptations have a history of failing miserably. I don’t know exactly why Hollywood can’t seem to get it right (though I’d guess it mostly has to do with Uwe Boll and the importance of taking “artistic license”), but Dead Space 2′s art director Ian Milham says that if there’s a Dead Space movie at some point in the future, they’re going to make sure its done right.

“One of the reasons Dead Space still exists and is popular is because we’ve made sure to do everything right,” Milham said. “So we’re doing the same with the film, not just a cheap cash-in but to do something really worthwhile, so we’ll see.”
It should be noted that isn’t confirmation that a Dead Space film is actually in the works, though Milham says that there’s an interest in doing a live action film and Visceral has been talking about it a lot, so that’s a pretty good start. In any case, would you go and see a film based on Dead Space, even given Hollywood’s tendency to butcher video game films? Who do you think should take on the role of Isaac?

I’m really excited that Visceral games are going to make a movie of dead space, they gonna make millions of dollars just like Prince of Persia.
What I want from Visceral games to choose an actor looks like isaac, don’t care who he is or where is he from, what I want is this movie to be success.
Good Job with the Report.
