While Twitter has long been one of the top outlets for most of the media elite there is one group of movie stars that have still been a little shy about putting themselves out there. Now a new report is claiming that porn actresses are finally starting to realize that Twitter can be a great place to appear accessible to their fans without being completely accessible.

The report says that while the porn industry has been extremely shy about adapting to social media sites because the industry wants its actresses to appear to be unattainable goddesses who would never deign to walk among the mortals, quite a few actresses are realizing that being available to their fans can actually be better for the career in the long run.

One actress that has had an especially positive affect thanks to her twitter account is Courtney Cummings who boasts more than 50,000 followers on Twitter. She says that while the adult industry has been leery of Twitter they have seen the popularity she has been able garner using the social media site.
