Bethesda and id Software Release New Rage Trailer
With all of the high profile games such as The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Mass Effect 3, Uncharted 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Killzone 3, and Duke Nukem Forever (to name a few) that are releasing this year, it would have pretty easy to forget about id Software’s newest IP, Rage. Well, perhaps anticipating that this would be the case, Bethesda and id have released a new trailer for their upcoming FPS/RPG/Racing game to jog your memory.

The trailer seems to be comprised of mostly cinematic moments, but some gameplay footage that previews some intense blasting and driving sneaks its way in there toward the end. Watching the trailer will bring back memories of games like Fallout 3, Borderlands and Duke Nukem, something that those following the game have been all to eager to point out since its initial reveal, as if it was some sort of bad thing.
Think about that mash-up for a minute, though. Doesn’t a game that combines elements from three awesome FPS titles sound like an even more awesome time? I thought so. Rage releases in North America and Europe on September 13th and September 16th, respectively.
