Oregon Trail & Carmen Sandiego Coming To Facebook

I don’t know about you, but my elementary school career was pretty much defined by Oregon Trail and Carmen Sandiego. Did I learn anything from them? Well, I learned that traveling the Oregon Trail was rough, but only because my family members seemed to have an affinity for dying from dysentery and because I couldn’t haul the thousands of pounds buffalo I killed back to my wagon. Still, those games were awesome.

Hopefully you’ll excuse me then while I set aside my usual negativity about Facebook games and replace it with utter giddiness, as both titles are making their way to Facebook next month. Developed by Blue Fang Games and published by The Learning Company, both games come complete with a heavy cosmetic makeover, as you can see in the screenshot above and in both of the trailers we have for you below.

Oregon Trail and Carmen Sandiego release on Facebook on February 2nd and February 9th, respectively. Enjoy the trailers folks.
