Shadow Of The Colossus Dev's PlayStation 3 Exclusive, The Last Guardian, Release Date Leaked?

The Last Guardian Coming On October 7th According To Retailers

Shadow Of The Colossus and Ico were both haunting masterpieces and it’s fair to say everyone is expecting Fumito Ueda to surpass himself given the vast expanse of the PS3′s hardware muscle he has to play with. Must be something to do with the exquisite visuals the studio managed to squeeze out of the PS2, second only to Sony Santa Monica’s God Of War 2 in sheer pretty. Most of us also probably want to see the heart-rending way that huge feathered thing buys the farm. And rumors say that come October 7th we will be doing just that.

Tesco, ASDA, The Hut, Zavvi and Woolworths have all posted the above as The Last Guardian release date, which doesn’t confirm it per se, but does line up with Team ICO leader’s recent assertion that “it’s the end of the trial and error phase of production and it’s time for to go into full production – crunch mode,” as well as Sony’s stated late 2011 release window.
