Call Of Duty Black Ops PS3 Getting Fix For Freezes, Also Adds Contracts

Call Of Duty Black Ops Patch Will Fix Freezes, Add New Features

After previously putting out the word that they may need to shut down Black Ops PS3 servers, Treyarch have apparently gone back to work to fix whatever it is they can and unlike the whole Modern Warfare 2 situation, it now looks a bit more under control. That impression is also reinforced by the fact that they also found the time to implement some weapons tweaks, affecting the PSG1, silenced sniper rifle, RCXD, and AK47U in new and exciting ways.

They’ve also added some new Contracts and other small features but, of course, none of that matters if your game won’t start or tends to freeze mid-teabagging. Nevertheless, Treyarch promise issues like the “infinite loading screen” are firmly in the past and Treyarch can go back to worrying about how to keep the PS3 hack from completely ruining the experience to the point where it needs to be put out of its misery. Although if they haven;t done it for Modern Warfare 2 by now, I wouldn’t worry about Black Ops.
