Upcoming T-Mobile Release Dates Leaked!

You have to love juicy news stories like this! The folks at TmoNews are known to have quite a few sources inside T-Mobile. Now, they’ve gotten a hold of a leaked internal T-Mobile document (looks like a Power Point slide) that shows the release dates of four major T-Mobile devices coming soon. Well, one of them is the Cliq 2, which is already out, but we’ve got the release dates for the Samsung Galaxy S 4G, the LG G-Slate and the Dell Streak 7 tablet.

First up is the one that’s already out. The slide mentions the Motorola Cliq 2 coming on January 19th. Which it did. It’s out now. Does that add credibility to this document?

Next up is the Dell Streak 7 Tablet. Sort of the big brother to the 5-inch Dell Streak on AT&T. It’ll be fully HSPA+ compliant and is “T-Mobile’s first 4G tablet”, and I’m sure they’ll promote it as the first 4G tablet or somesuch. The Dell Streak 7 is said to becoming on February 2nd, according to the slide.

Next is the 4G Samsung Galaxy S. I have no idea why it isn’t being branded as the “Samsung Vibrant 4G”, seeing as how the Samsung Vibrant is T-Mobile’s version of the Galaxy S. Anyway, the speedy Galaxy S phone is coming to T-Mobile on February 23rd.

And finally, the one that a lot of folks are waiting for, the LG G-Slate which will be one of the first Android tablets to ship with Android 3.0 “Gingerbread”. The leaked release date for that is March 23rd, which is aways off. But Google had put the complete stops on Motorola showing Android 3.0 at CES this year – which leads me to believe that Gingerbread is nowhere near finished.
