T-Mobile Set To Lower Samsung Galaxy Tab Pricing Down To $249.99 With Two-Year Agreement
The last we heard anything in terms of the Samsung Galaxy Tab with T-Mobile was back in mid-December when they took $50 off the price. In other words, the price was cut from $399.99 down to $349.99. Anyway, while that sounded good, I think many were secretly wishing for that price to get down somewhere in the $200 range.

I know I fall into that category and while I could not make a firm commitment, I would say that I would be much more tempted to make purchase. Well, flash forward till today and assuming these latest images are accurate then it looks like it may soon be time for another price cut.
The images are actually pictures of an internal T-Mobile system and they are detailing the next price cut, which is said to go into effect as of January 26th — as in tomorrow. According to the details given, the “2-Year Contract price for the Samsung Galaxy Tab will decrease to $249.99.” Sadly though, that $249.99 price point comes after a $50 mail-in-rebate, which means some will likely still keep their money in pocket.
With that, we will be keeping our fingers crossed in hope that this is the real deal. That said, while I may have to finally pull the trigger I am thinking again — it would be nicer to pay $199.99 instead. And given that, taking into consideration that the last price cut was only about one month back — will T-Mobile offer another cut next month? One could only hope. Still, that is not something that I would count on.
Then again, the thought is always there. Is is good to go with what is a slightly older model at this point when we are already aware that T-Mobile will be launching a few new Android tablets shortly. They have the Dell Streak 7 coming soon, though, in regards to the Streak 7 — it is appealing that is ships with Android 2.2 and support for 4G however the display is also 800 x 480.
