PSP 2 Will Have 3G Data, OLED Screen, According To Rumors

PSP 2 Rumors Bring 3G Data, OLED Touchscreen Features To Light

Two days before the expected announcement of the expected PS3 grade plutonium of the handheld world, rumormongers, as is their wont, are doing their best to get a few more hits in. Sony isn’t saying much, as usual, but if these specs we’re hearing about are on the level, it’s probably just saving its strength.

The PSP will reportedly have a 3G radio, and a touchscreen OLED screen, both features weren’t mentioned before in any of the other major reports of leaked features. Anyone who’s ever had themselves a Homebrew-enabled PSP is rubbing their hands in anticipation, because this can only mean one thing. I’m finally getting the PSP phone I want, need, deserve and dream about during fevered early morning REM sleep after staying up nights thinking about it instead of a tarted up Android phone with pretty buttons and an empty games app. That is if the thing has a microphone. Hopefully we get to find out on January 27th.
