While some people will say they don’t really know why they would ever need a dermascope, there are real world applications that can be filled with this handy little device. Dermascopes are the devices that dermatologists use in order to figure out if something is wrong with your skin, in the cancer region.
With the Handyscope, you simply attach the device to your iPhone and download the app and you have a doctor’s office grade device right in your hot little hands. With this device magnification can even be up to 20x, which is enough for the trained eye to see that there might be something wrong with the skin they are looking at. Of course the best part is that once you have attached the device and magnified the skin you can actually take a picture, meaning that you can take proof to your doctor that something may be wrong.
