Cellular South Valentines Day Sales Include Low Priced Android Smartphones

Personally I am not sure what Valentines Day has to do with smartphones, but why wonder or complain when it includes a Valentines Day sale with up to 75 percent off. That said, Cellular South has announced an Valentines Day sale for Android smartphones.

“Cellular South, the largest privately owned wireless carrier in the U.S., is making it easier than ever for wireless users to fall in love with Android-powered devices this Valentine’s Day by offering some early special deals on some of the company’s most popular smartphones.”

Anyway, according to the details provided, those interested will be able to get an HTC Wildfire at 75 percent off or the HTC Desire at 50 percent off. As for what that actually means in terms of price — $19.99 and $74.99 for the Wildfire and Desire respectively.

Furthermore, those customers who order a family account with two or more lines will qualify for free activation. Plus, Cellular South also took this as a perfect time to remind us of their iPhone trade-in program which will allow those who trade an iPhone to get a $100 credit towards the purchase of an Android device.

But shifting back to the prices of the Android devices. Aside from the Desire and Wildfire, there is also the Motorola Milestone, the LG Axis, HTC Hero and the Samsung Galaxy S. These models are priced at $99.99, $99, $49 and $199.99 respectively. Though it is worth noting, these prices are all after a $50 mail in rebate.

And lastly, keeping in with the Valentines Day spirit, Cellular South is going to include their “highly-touted” Discover Apps tool available on each Android smartphone. And for those (like myself) who missed the Discover Apps tool before, that is described as being “designed to help customers find the best apps for their individual interests.”

Lastly, while nothing specific was mentioned in the press release as to when these offers will end, we have to think that will happen sometime around Valentines Day, which is February 14th.
