Crytek Announces 360-Exclusive Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo
Following in the footsteps of the Crysis 2 closed beta, EA and Crytek have announced that Crysis 2 will get a multiplayer demo that’s exclusive to the Xbox 360. The demo, which will be released on January 25th, will only be available to Xbox Live Gold members, adding yet another layer of exclusivity to the deal.

Players will get to test out Crysis 2′s version of the Nanosuit on a map titled “Skyline.” The demo will have two multiplayer modes available: “Team Instant Action,” which is your trypical Team Deathmatch game, and “Team Crash Site,” which tasks player with protecting crashed alien pods from the enemy.
Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli said what he thinks makes Crysis 2 stand out from other first-person shooters during the announcement: “The Nanosuit gives gamers a sense of power they have yet to experience in any other shooter, and having New York City as a backdrop will present a different type of playground with even more possibilities.”
Crysis 2 is set to release on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on March 22.
