Dead Space is something you may have played back when it came out or around that time. It was sort of big, is what I mean and I find it difficult you didn’t at least try the demo. Then again the plot was basically that of Alien, but with plenty of forensic dismemberment thrown in, so you’re not missing much. Except the crazy cult angle, Alien didn’t have that. So Alien with a crazy cult. And an ancient relic. Alright so maybe it’s not identical to Alien.

But let’s just say we recognize a few of the themes. Nevertheless, with its younger sibling turning the corner and the family ties showing it wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world to reacquaint yourself with Isaac Clarke and his wacky limb-removing hi-jinks. Murdering of nursery rhymes aside, the Dead Space franchise is probably going to be around for a long while and it couldn’t hurt to play it with the prequel fresh in your mind.
