HTC Thunderbolt Coming February 14th?

Yesterday, our man Chris told you about a rumor that had pinned the HTC Thunderbolt in coming the last week in February. Now, we’re hearing that it might becoming a touch before that – February 14th, to be specific. This comes from website Phandroid, who, in turn, heard from a source they trust.

What’s interesting about Feb. 14th is that it’s the first day of this years Mobile World Congress – the mobile phone trade show. Historically, Verizon hasn’t attended MWC because MWC is put on by the GSM folks and they are, of course, a CDMA carrier. However, Verizon has been attending in reason years, I believe in part because of their connection with LTE. So, will they make the news by dropping their first LTE 4G phone the first day of the show?

The Verizon iPhone comes out on February 10th. Hopefully, all those pesky iPhone fans will be out of the Verizon stores by the time that people start lining up for the HTC Thunderbolt – if it’s coming on Feb. 14th, that is.

• Android 2.2 w/ HTC Sense
• 768MB RAM
• 8GB memory
• Preinstalled 32GB memory card
• 8MP camera, 1.3MP front facing camera

I was at CES this year for TFTS and I got my hands on all of the new Verizon 4G phones. This one (the Thunderbolt) was my favorite of the four, although the LG Revolution was a close second. It was thin, light, quick, responsive, awesome and had a big screen. Everything you’d want in a phone.
