HTC Thunderbolt Coming with Simultaneous Voice & Data Over LTE, Unlike the Verizon iPhone 4

One of the drawbacks of the recently announced Verizon iPhone 4 is that it won’t be able to offer you simultaneous voice and data transfers, which will prove to be an annoying thing once you do start using the Mobile Hotspot, the CDMA iPhone will offer. But the HTC Thunderbolt, an Android super smartphone that was unveiled at CES 2011 (here’s our own hands-on preview) will offer you simultaneous voice and data over LTE, according to a leaked Verizon document.

The leaked training document, available below, tells the story of the HTC Thunderbolt, one of the most impressive 4G LTE Android handsets heading to Verizon in the first half of the year. In fact here’s what Verizon is already saying about the phone in the slide below:

• First VZW device to share a 3G or 4G Internet connection with up to eight Wi-Fi-enabled devices using VZW Mobile Hotspot
• First VZW device with simultaneous voice and data capabilities, enabling customers to browse the web and make voice calls at the same time!
• First VZW device to feature Skype mobile with video, available post launch, which will allow customers to make video calls with friends, family and colleagues, using the front and rear-facing cameras
• First smartphone to feature HTC’s latest user interface – Sense 2.0, allowing customers to fully customize the device to their needs.

As you can see simultaneous voice and data is not the only special feature the HTC Thunderbolt will have to offer, but it will certainly be an appreciated one by Verizon customers.
