White iPhone 4 May Emerge February 27th At Best Buy

For those of you hungry for the white iPhone 4, your wait may be approaching its inevitable end. Word has just emerged that the white iPhone 4 may actually hit Best Buy stores, and a whole lot sooner than you might have expected.

Go ahead and cancel your flight to Berlin, folks, because you’ll be able to land one of those fabled white iPhone 4s right here in the United States, or at least, as close to American soil as a Best Buy store comes these days. The pic above is reportedly a screen shot from Best Buy inventory that shows the exact date the white iPhone 4, in both 16 and 32 gig sizes, will be available for purchase, and that target date based on the photos is February 27th.

Considering February 27th is a Sunday, I’m not a hundred percent sure that this one will come about, though I have heard of Sunday product launches before. It’s the start of a new week, most everybody’s home and can go shopping, though usually you’d think they’d want to do this on a Saturday with extended hours as opposed to the closed-early status that Sunday normally enjoys.

And while that image above hasn’t been substantiated–like Best Buy would issue a statement saying it’s accurate?–apparently the image you’re seeing above is using the exact same product codes that Best Buy had used, and then promptly pulled, the last time they thought the white iPhone was coming their way.

So while it’s entirely possible this might be pulled once again, right now, everything’s pointing to a late February landing on the mythic white iPhone 4. Question of the day is, is anyone going to want one now, since most everybody who’d want an iPhone 4 probably has one by now, and doubly so since the iPhone 5 has been popping up in various reports for weeks now?
