New iPad 2 LCD Spotted in the Wild; Rumors Mention Vibrating Motor Too
The next-gen Apple iPad tablet is starring in more and more rumors and we’re certainly not surprised considering that we’re approaching fast the official announcement and release date. We have more iPad 2 details for you with some leaked images, right after the break.

Today we’re talking about the iPad 2’s LCD monitor, which has been spotted in the wild. What’s very interesting with this particular leak is that it comes from Global Direct Parts. In case that name sounds familiar it’s because the same establishment posted a video on YouTube showing parts of the iPhone 5 / Verizon iPhone 4 compared with the current AT&T iPhone 4.

The video showed various differences between the two devices and Apple has decided to act against it and have it removed from YouTube a day after the media talked about it. But here’s the kicker, that Verizon iPhone 4 launched a few days ago looked awfully similar to what we’ve seen in that video removed from Apple.

Global Direct Parts was once right so we only assume they are right this time around too. The iPad 2 LCD screen, available in the images below is listed for $218.19 which is quite expensive considering that the display for the original iPad is listed for just $63.35.

Sure, we’re looking at a better display, rumored to sport a 2048×1536 resolution, but we can’t help but wonder whether the basic price of the iPad 2 will see any changes considering the tablet is said to get several improvements.

Next up, from the same source, is an iPad vibrating motor, which will apparently be installed on the iPad 2. That’s definitely an interesting feature there. Do we need a vibrating motor for gaming feedback? Maybe for calls? We have no idea yet so we can’t wait to see the tablet in all its glory.
The iPad 2 will be announced in the following weeks, and while we’re yet to see whether Steve Jobs will take the stage or not, we’re definitely interested to hear your thoughts on the new tablet in the comments section. What do you want from the new iPad?
