Verizon Puts AT&T iPhone 4 Images on Its Site; Both White & Black Versions
The white iPhone 4 is still going to be the unicorn phone you never had the chance to order last year. And everything isn’t going to change again even if Verizon will start selling the phone soon. The white iPhone 4 has not been announced today, despite what you’ll notice in the images below but it looks like Verizon really wants it. In fact Verizon seems to want both a white and black iPhone, even if they come from AT&T (warning, some poor Verizon photoshopping skills ahead):

The CDMA iPhone 4 has been announced today and we have already gotten the chance to look at some of the most important things concerning it:
- Specs and features
- Pricing details and release dates
- Early upgrade policy
- Outer Antenna Design Change
- iOS 4.2.5 Support
Amidst all these news we also noticed that, despite craving for the iPhone 4 for at least a couple of years, Verizon is not completely updated on the iPhone 4. The carrier doesn’t seem to know that there is no such thing as a white iPhone 4 at least not in real life, and therefore Big Red did list the white Verizon iPhone 4 option on its official website.
Unfortunately the white iPhone 4 is still something Apple can’t pull off. Due to those front and back panels various white coloration issues as well as camera lighting problem have been reported in the past and that’s something Apple didn’t really fix yet.

In fact, looking at the images closely we’ll notice that Verizon published a bunch of AT&T iPhone images on its site which is far worse than actually showing a Verizon white iPhone. How do we know? Well we can tell the difference between an AT&T and Verizon iPhone by just looking at the images. And those two, my friends, must be photoshopped AT&T iPhones right there. (Who do you suppose is responsible for this, Apple or Verizon?)

Because the new iPhone 4 for Verizon has a new outer antenna design meant to prevent Death Grip Antennagate scandals support CDMA as Tim Cook said earlier today.

Verizon did correct its error and pulled the white CDMA iPhone 4 image pretty quickly. In fact the same page now points to a single black iPhone 4 that happens to be a Verizon device also I guess Big Red was busy snapping pictures and waiting its turn for a hands-on before it was able to update the site accordingly.
