CES 2011: Star Wars Blu-Ray Sets Coming In September Via Fox Home Entertainment
Don;t worry loyal Star Wars fans, the milking of the franchise will continue as planned, if you thought an entire format generation was creeping by without a gigantic Star Wars release, you thought wrong. Even the teaser announcement was plain as day regarding the next destination for the Star Wars films.

The skinny is that three different box sets are heading for fine purveyors of Blu-Ray discs everywhere and no, neither you nor Fox Home Entertainment are miscounting the movies, it’s just that these days it apparently takes three Blu-Ray discs to fit the extra behind the scenes, never before seen, etc. miscellaneous footage that will end up convincing you to buy Star Wars on yet another format for the fifth time. Mark our words, at the end of time when we’re all just gobs of consciousness floating through infinite space, there won’t have been any sort of Star Wars commercial release that includes all the Star Wars deleted scenes and extra content that ever existed.
