CES 2011 Live: Verizon Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot & Novatel MiFi 4510L Intelligent Mobile Hotspot Official
As we told you earlier on today, the CES 2011 Verizon conference unveiled 10 new 4G LTE devices, 4 smartphones, 2 tablets and 2 notebooks. You’ve already seen them all i so now we’re going to show you a couple of mobile hotspots that will come with 4G abilities, the Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot and the Novatel MiFi 4510L Intelligent Mobile Hotspot.

The Novatel MiFi 4510L Intelligent Mobile Hotspot will let you connect up to five Wi-Fi devices and will offer you the ability of sharing both Verizon’s 4G LTE or 3G network with your friends when in a tight spot such as CES’s live events. The Novatel MiFi 4510L Mobile Hotspot is the successor of the Novatel Wireless MiFi 2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot, but the new model will be able to offer you download speeds of 5 to 12Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5Mbps as long as you have some great LTE 4G coverage. We don’t have pricing details and launch dates yet but we’ll be back with those as soon as Verizon makes them public.

The Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot is a dual-mode device that will also act as your own personal Wi-Fi network ready to share both Verizon’s 4G or 3G signal. The press release says you can expect download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps wherever LTE is available, just like the Novatel MiFi above. Pricing details and launch dates aren’t available just yet, so you’ll still have to sit tightly and wait for them to become official.
