CES 2011 Live: Motorola's Droid Bionic Emerges
A big step for Motorola today–out at the CES 2011 show, they’re showing off what they’re billing as the first ever 4G LTE device, and it’s got some pretty impressive hardware going on under its tiny hood. It’s the Motorola Droid Bionic, and its spec sheet looks as science fact as its name sounds science fiction.

Of course, it’s running at 4G speeds, which represents a whole lot of connectivity juice going on here, but it’s not just the connection speeds that are fast. The Motorola Droid Bionic is also packing a dual-core processor along with reportedly 512 megs of DDR2 RAM, as well as a 4.3 inch screen, which gives you a whole lot of exciting possibilities.
They’re calling the graphics on this one “console quality”, which is likely freaking out the gamers, and for those of you who like your entertainment mobile, well, I can’t imagine a YouTube video stuttering or crawling along with this kind of punch in your system. If it weren’t for the screen size, I’d almost swear I was reading the spec list off, say, a three year old desktop PC.
But this one’s definitely going to impress a whole lot of people, but it’s enough to make me wonder: will they get some people out of iPhone with these specs?
